High-Performance X-ray Systems to Strengthen Bone Detection, Product Integrity and Line Efficiency at IPPE 2026

December 19, 2025

Atlanta, Georgia — January 27–29, 2026 — With requirements tightening across retail, foodservice, and further-processing channels, processors continue to seek inspection solutions that deliver clarity, speed, and repeatable performance. At IPPE 2026, Eagle Product Inspection, part of METTLER TOLEDO, will demonstrate three advanced x-ray systems engineered to help facilities enhance detection capability, maintain throughput, and support stronger food safety programs. Attendees can see the MAXIMIZER 540, Pack 400 HC, and Pipeline x-ray inspection systems in Booth C24175.

High Resolution Image Analysis

The MAXIMIZER 540 will be prominently featured as a solution designed for raw poultry inspection, helping processors achieve stronger contaminant detection without sacrificing line speed. The system pairs the RMI 540 x-ray machine with automated product handling and reject mechanisms to support higher throughput and detection consistency on belt-fed applications. Powered by SimulTask™ PRO image analysis software and Eagle’s high-resolution PXT™ photon-counting technology, the MAXIMIZER 540 delivers high-clarity imaging and real-time, pixel-level analysis to improve detection performance while reducing false rejects and minimizing manual intervention across fast-moving raw protein lines.

Hygienically Constructed Systems

For packaged, retail-ready, and bagged products, Eagle will exhibit the Pack 400 HC, engineered for reliable contaminant detection and product integrity checks in harsh washdown environments. The system provides stable imaging performance across trays, pouches, and modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) formats, helping processors verify mass, package components, and overall consistency. As oversight of packaging accuracy and presentation continues to increase, the Pack 400 HC supports the repeatability plants need across every shift.

The Eagle Pack 400 HC is purpose built for easy sanitation in harsh washdown environments.

Pumped Product Inspection

Eagle will also display its Pipeline x-ray system for pumped and ground products such as slurries, emulsions, and sausage blends. Designed with a 3-inch or 4-inch diameter product path transitioned to a rectangular aperture for uniform inspection coverage, the Pipeline system delivers dependable detection of dense foreign materials while supporting high-throughput production. An improved manifold design simplifies maintenance and cleaning while reducing the number of hardware components required.

Processors are being asked to deliver more documentation, more precision, and more consistency—even as production environments become more complex,” said Christy Draus, Head of Marketing, Eagle Product Inspection. “Our systems provide the imaging performance and operational confidence facilities need to meet rising expectations while maintaining efficiency across the line.

IPPE attendees can visit Booth C24175 to see live demonstrations and discuss practical strategies for integrating advanced x-ray inspection into existing food safety and quality programs.
