New Eagle H-Series Metal Detector and X-ray Inspection System launch at ProPak China 2014; Asia-Pacific Food Manufacturers to Benefit from Global, Proven Product Inspection

Shanghai, China, July 1st 2014 – With food safety an increasingly important concern for consumers across Asia-Pacific, Eagle Product Inspection (Eagle) is set to showcase two new world-class products designed to help food manufacturers compete on the global food markets at ProPak China 2014, Shanghai, China (July 16-18, 2014) on Stand 5B31.  To meet the growing demand for consistency of product quality, these innovations enable product distribution to lucrative markets, avoid product recalls, uphold brand reputation and guarantee consumer safety against substandard products. The new Eagle™ H-Series Metal Detector, focusing on detection of ferrous and non-ferrous contaminants and offering exceptional levels of sensitivity with exceptional stability, will be officially launched at this year’s ProPak China. In addition, showcased for the first time in Asia, is Eagle™ Tall PRO XSDV, a dual view x-ray system designed to detect and remove up to 50% smaller sized contaminants located in rigid and glass containers. From its Shanghai-based facility in China, Eagle offers Asia-Pacific manufacturers a reliable and affordable solution to comply with stringent international and local food safety legislation and retailer guidelines, therefore increasing their exportation capabilities.

“Compliance with food safety standards is vital for food manufacturers looking to supply local and overseas retailers and brand owners,” said Jeff Jia, Channel Manager, Eagle Product Inspection China. “Only in May 2014, the Chinese State Council, the country’s cabinet, issued guidelines to boost food safety, especially in baby formula, following the recent incidents of product contamination, and meat products. Draft amendments show sanctions including fines, jail and prohibiting future trading. Our proven product inspection systems, adopted by small to large food manufacturers across the globe, meet such regulatory requirements, and safeguard consumer welfare in China and abroad.”

At ProPak China 2014, Eagle will reinforce its long history of designing and supporting reliable product inspection solutions for the Asia-Pacific food industry. Jia and the Eagle team supports food manufacturers with their experience in metal detection and x-ray inspection solutions, working closely with producers and suppliers of food products including bulk agricultural food stuff, such as vegetables and cereals, and packaged ready meals – to provide product inspection solutions that meet the needs of specific production lines and world markets.
