X-ray Detects Glass in Glass

Assorted fruit jams packaged in glass jars are a staple breakfast item for most, however producing these delicious preserves comes with its challenges:

  • Detection of glass fragments in glass packaging
  • Crown or bottom of jar area inspection
  • Quality controls after metal lid is placed
  • Fill level and weight verification

The Eagle™ QuadView with SimulTask™ PRO has four-view detection and provides full x-ray inspection of glass jars and removal of foreign body contaminants even in the most hard to find crevasses. Its advanced imaging software can simultaneously inspect each jar for glass shards and other contaminants, and verify target weight while ensuring that all jars have aluminum lids in place.
