The Solution
The solution is x-ray inspection of pharmaceutical medicine cups using the Eagle™ Pack 240 PRO with SimulTask™ PRO machine. This x-ray inspection system can inspect cups after they are foil sealed for foreign body contaminants while simultaneously verifying weight for each individual cup even at high line speeds. Also, unlike metal detectors, false rejects are not an issue because x-ray can permeate the metal foil to locate metal fragment contaminants.
