Eagle to Unveil New X-ray Inspection Technology and Enhanced Systems at PACK EXPO International 2026

September 10, 2026

Major technology unveiling and four NEW x-ray inspection systems span Eagle Booth LU-7303 and METTLER TOLEDO Booth 2122

Eagle Product Inspection will make PACK EXPO International 2026 the setting for a major new technology unveiling while showcasing four enhanced x-ray inspection systems across Eagle Booth LU-7303 and METTLER TOLEDO Booth 2122. The displays will span raw, bulk and packaged food applications.

Under the theme “The Evolution of X-ray Inspection,” Eagle Booth LU-7303 will feature the MAXIMIZER RMI, RMI3/M and Pack 400 HC, along with the debut of Eagle’s newest x-ray inspection technology. The booth will also include a METTLER TOLEDO Gravity Fall metal detector. Attendees can see the Eagle Pack 550 at METTLER TOLEDO Booth 2122.

A Major Step Forward in X-ray Inspection

At PACK EXPO, Eagle will unveil a significant advancement in x-ray inspection technology.

The unveiling marks an important milestone in Eagle’s continued advancement of x-ray inspection, introducing a new technology designed for the demands of today’s increasingly complex production environments.

“Detection will always be fundamental to x-ray inspection, but the opportunity now goes much further,” said Christy Draus, Head of Marketing at Eagle Product Inspection. “The next evolution is about turning inspection data into actionable intelligence, giving manufacturers clearer visibility, faster quality verification and the information to make better decisions. It’s also about making advanced inspection more intuitive and supporting consistent performance across every shift.”

Enhanced X-ray Inspection Systems on Display

Eagle™ MAXIMIZER RMI
The MAXIMIZER RMI integrates advanced x-ray inspection and automated reject management to streamline poultry processing, reduce labor demands and maximize productivity. Featuring PXT™ dual energy photon-counting technology, the system delivers exceptional detection of low-density foreign materials and small bone fragments, low false reject rates and targeted reject handling to optimize product quality, yields and throughput.

Eagle™ RMI3/M
The RMI3/M x-ray inspection system delivers advanced contaminant detection for high-volume bulk meat and carton applications, helping processors enhance product safety while maintaining production efficiency. Hygienically engineered for harsh processing environments, the system supports rapid sanitation and inspection with an open design that simplifies cleaning and maximizes operational uptime.

Eagle™ Pack 400 HC
The Pack 400 HC combines x-ray inspection with a hygienic design suited for meat, poultry, seafood and dairy applications. The system can simultaneously perform contaminant detection, mass measurement, component counting and product integrity checks while supporting demanding sanitation requirements.

METTLER TOLEDO Gravity Fall Metal Detector
Designed for inspecting free-flowing powders and grains, the Gravity Fall metal detector features Automatic Test System (ATS), allowing routine performance monitoring tests to be completed in less than one minute.

Eagle™ Pack 550
Built for larger packaged food and multilane applications, the Pack 550 provides expanded inspection coverage while performing contaminant detection and multiple product quality checks simultaneously. The Pack 550 will be demonstrated at METTLER TOLEDO Booth 2122, with attendees directed to Eagle Booth LU-7303 to explore additional x-ray inspection systems and new technology unveiling.

Attendees can experience Eagle’s next-generation inspection intelligence through live demonstrations and meet the team behind the technology during the official launch celebration Monday, October 19, from 3–5 p.m. at Eagle Booth LU-7303.
